Where you fit in:
As Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will focus on managing receivables, ensuring timely payment of invoices, reducing aged debt, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Your role sits at the heart of our finance team ensuring the financial stability and profitability of the company by effectively managing and collecting outstanding receivables, minimising bad debts, and supporting healthy cash flow.
What a Typical Day Might Look Like:
• Managing aged debt and implementing strategies to reduce overdue balances
• Monitoring AR aging reports and following up on outstanding invoices
• Maintaining regular contact with customers via phone and email to secure payment commitments
• Managing the accounts inbox, responding to queries and maintaining accurate records
• Investigating disputes and working with internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues
• Processing credit notes in line with company policy
• Allocating payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving unapplied cash
• Escalating high-risk or delinquent accounts where appropriate
• Producing reports and insights on receivables, trends, and credit risk
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About You:
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role
• Excellent customer service skills, with a polite, tactful, and firm manner
• Confidence, professionalism, and persistence
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
Desirable:
• Experience with Oracle
• Experience in a SaaS or global business environment
